Imagine Me Kids is casting “Coming Of Age” and comedic short student films.
The films are created as part of a film conservatory program for middle school students, who make 20-minute shorts as part of their training.
“Coming of Age” Short
Taka: male, 11-14, Japanese, kind, smart, gentle, non-violent, deeply committed to family
Taka’s Mom: 30-50, Japanese, housewife, strict, caring, fluency in Japanese a plus
Taka’s Dad: 30-50, Japanese, protective, tough but caring, fluency in Japanese a plus
Lang: 30-50, Korean, neighbor, father figure.
Comedy Short-Ping Chen: male, 40s-50s, Asian, bearded, talkative, impolite, self-important
Derrick Gat: 13, Caucasian, blonde, skinny, lively eyes, outgoing
Therapist: 40s-50s, grey hair, calm, collected
Latiquasha: 20s, African-American, fast-talking, sassy, self-absorbed.
Some pay, plus copy, credit, and travel provided.
Auditions will be held January 4th, 1-6 p.m.
