Seeking actors for new web series
May “BE” New York is a new web series centering around the life and times of May and her two best friends/room- mates Doreen and Bennie.
They each have a different view on love, life and being a New Yorker ( the bridge and tunnel scene). They reside in Prospect Park Brooklyn.
We are looking for 3 actresses to portray: May Deckum: (mid to late 20’s) Amerasian is a Queens Native. She’s polite and slightly naive and terminally optimistic. She has this incredible knack for dating the weirdest men in the city.
Breakdowns:
Doreen Patel: (mid to late 20’s) West Indian American, from flatbush Brooklyn and has no nonsense approach to life. She’s career driven and the quintessential ball buster.
Bienvienda Velez aka Bennie: (mid to late 20’s) Nuyorican (from the boogie down Bronx), deeply romantic, looking for true love but has bad case of ADD when it comes to men. She’s a dreamer and likes the ideal instead of reality.
We are also looking for GUYS to play love interest for the above characters in different webisodes. Ages range and looks can vary. We’re just looking for guys with a comedic background or a natural sense of humor.
