Seeking actors for full-length play “Learn Me My Need” - NY
Learn Me My Need, a new full-length play, seeks the following characters:
MANNY: young Latino male (or black who could pass for Latino), feisty and charming, teens to early 20’s but must be able to convincigly play an 11th grade student.
MR. BRIX: black male teacher, late 20’s to 30’s, confident, intelligent but a little intentionally rough around the edges.
PAPA: Manny’s father, Latino male (or black who could pass for Latino), late 30’s to 40’s but must be able to convincingly play the father of a teen. Depressed, helpless.
Also seeking an ASSISTANT DIRECTOR/PRODUCER to work with our director/producer. Experience is not as important as motivation and reliability. Please send a brief note of interest and/or resume to email below.
Two full weekends of performances will occur in the last two weeks of June. We are looking for hard working, dedicated actors who can truly commit to this process.
