Seeking actors for a feature film “Rich Blood”
SAG Ultra-Low Budget Film Agreement.
Director Brett Sorem is casting “Rich Blood” a feature-length film (shot on the EX-1 or Red Camera) about Richard Stanton, a South Bronx native, who tells a reporter his story about life as a Blood from beginning to end.
Casting:
Richard Stanton: ages 8-21, to be played as a child, teen, and young adult by several actors, African-American, impressionable but wise
Jackson Bennett: 21-25, African-American, born leader, supporting role
Marcus: 14-24, to be played as a teen and young adult by two actors, African-American, loose cannon, supporting role
Terrance: 40s, African-American, father figure, featured role
Jennifer: 14-20, to be played as a teen and young adult by two actors, African-American, innocent, featured role.
Pay for SAG actors; deferred pay for nonunion actors.
Copy, credit, meals, and travel provided.
Shoots in August in NYC.
