Poetry in Motion: NYC Dance Project Seeks NYC Types Who Dance

Can you pull off: Upper West Side Senior Citizen, L-Train Hipster, Soho Fashionista, bagel-making deli man? Can you hold your own on the dance floor? We want to showcase NYC with the same diversity you see on the subway at rush hour.

Directed by Rachel Kerry and Associate Choreographed by Sean Roschman. The global production group Control Room (the people who produced Live Earth) is staging a large scale event on behalf of ONEDROP and CIRQUE DU SOLEIL. This project is part of a two-hour global event that will be broadcast both online and on television. Performing on October 9th, this large-scale presentation will showcase a number of well-known artists, actors, and dancers.

Open auditions:
Sunday, September 20th
1:00PM-5:30PM

Bring a résumé and headshot to the audition. Walk-ins are welcome, but RSVPing is preferred. Upon arrival, you will be given a 10 minute audition time slot. Ages 18 and up to audition please!
