Open Casting Call: Nets Basketball is casting the Nets Dancers for the 2008-09 season
Nets Basketball is casting the Nets Dancers for the 2008-09 season. Petra Pope and Kimberlee Garris, dirs. Dancers will perform at home NBA basketball games and represent the Nets at events throughout the NY metropolitan area, on television, and in print media.
Seeking: Nets Dancers: 18+, with at least eight years of technical dance training, tumbling skills are a plus, but not required.
NYC Open Call will be held on June 20 at 6 p.m. (Registration begins at 5:30 p.m.) at City Center Studios, 130 West 56th Street, NYC. NJ Open Call will be held on June 21 at 11 a.m. (Registration begins at 10:30 a.m.) at Nets Basketball Headquarters, 390 Murray Hill Parkway, East Rutherford, NJ. Select dancers from each open call will be invited to attend final auditions on the evening of June 23.
For dancers looking for an edge at auditions, the Nets will be offering Nets Dancers Boot Camp from Sunday June 15 - Thursday June 19.
