Open auditions for “West Side Story”

West Side Story — OPEN Auditions / Maria and Rosalia
Broadway/Production Contract Current minimum weekly salary: $1,509
1st rehearsal: Late October, 2008, NYC.

Seeking:
Maria: Looks 17 - 21. Lyric soprano – she does not HAVE to sing the high C at the end of “Tonight Quintet”, but it would be preferred. Innocent, but sexual. MUST be fluent in Spanish.

Rosalia: Should look 17 - 21. Puerto Rican. Requires a funny character actress, with a great soprano vocal and a strong mezzo belt. MUST be fluent in Spanish.
