Open auditions for “The Lion King”
The Lion King – Open Auditions / Young Boys and Girls
Seeking replacements for the Broadway and National Tour companies.
Young Simba: Boy, age 9 - 12 (actor under 58” in height) to play young African lion cub. This young boy must have an unchanged voice and be able to sing in the pop/rock genre, dance and/or move extremely well and be capable of great humor. Must be extremely charismatic.
Young Nala: Girl, age 9 – 12 (actress under 58” in height) to play the female African lion cub. This young girl must be very pretty and a natural young actress/singer who is able to move well. A natural talent with personality, confidence and strength. Must be a strong singer with a belt voice to a D.

All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents or guardians must remain at the audition site at all times.
Children should be prepared to be taught the last verse of “Just Can’t Wait to be King”.
