Disney’s High School Musical — Open Auditions for Male Singer/Dancers
1st National Tour, Equity Production Contract,

NOTE: This musical is adapted from the Disney Channel original movie “High School Musical,” written by Peter Barsocchini. Performers of all cultural backgrounds are encouraged to attend.

Seeking:
Male singer/dancers: Males 18+ to play high school age. Any ethnicity. All encouraged to attend. Strong singer/dancers who must TUMBLE and sing well. Seeking dancers with the following specialties: gymnastics, skate boarding, cheerleading, break dancing, and hip-hop tricks. To play various roles in the ensemble and also cover the principal role of Chad Danforth and Zeke Baylor.

$1,509 per week minimum

Equity audition procedures are NOT in effect. No Equity monitor provided. Producer runs all aspects of the audition.

Bring picture and resume, stapled together.

Be prepared to dance first. Bring sneakers/running shoes and kneepads (No hip-hop or jazz shoes). After dancing you may be asked to sing. Please prepare 16 bars of a pop/rock or contemporary musical theater song that shows a high rock ’n’ roll belt. Bring sheet music; a piano accompanist will be provided.
