NYC Voice Actors Needed – Men, Women, and Children
Low budget indie film looking for non-union voice actors for the following voiceover roles. We are recording on Friday 1/22 and will need to audition you before then. PLEASE PROVIDE A VO DEMO.
––WOMEN––
TOMMY’S ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER (20s–30s): A young, naive, and coddling rookie teacher, more like a glorified babysitter than an academic.
CLARK’S MOTHER (40s, Caucasian): A proper and stern Upper East Side, old money wife.
––MEN––
TOMMY’S FATHER (50s, Caucasian): Working-class, gritty and rough around the edges.
MOVIE ZARAGOZA (Late 20s/early 30s, African American): An African-American drag queen identifying as female, witty with an edge, with a slight Southern accent.
MOVIE ZARAGOZA’S BOYFRIEND: (Late 20s/Early 30s, Caucasian): A slight, sensitive type.
ZARAGOZA’S FATHER (40s–50s, African American): Working-class and traditional, taciturn but not cold.
THEATER PRODUCER (40s–50s, Male): A flippant, aged book person. Think Kevin Kline’s character in “Definitely, Maybe”.
AFRICAN AMERICAN TEENS (Late teens, Early 20’s): Amateur okay. Just background chatter.
––CHILDREN––
ELEMENTARY AGED TOMMY (8-10, Caucasian Boy): Young and hopeful.
ELEMENTARY AGED CLARK (8-10, Caucasian Girl): Hopeful but conflicted.
