NY Auditions for “Green Eyes”

Green Eyes tracks a relationship from beginning to end through rock music and dance. Both characters, “He” and “She,” are represented by one singer and one dancer a piece.

CASTING:
HE SINGS
20-something pop/rock singer/actor who reads young. Vulnerable, open, appealing, confused and easily excited. Delves into this relationship with full force and comes up with new ideas on love. An expert storyteller and rock singer.

SHE SINGS
20-something pop/rock singer/actress who reads young. She is beautiful, strong-willed and responsive. She is determined to make this relationship work and easily frustrates when it doesn’t. An expert storyteller and rock singer.

HE DANCES
20-something extremely well-trained dancer and actor, well-versed in ballet and modern dance. Excellent at partnering. A beautiful storyteller, expressive mover. Slightly more knowing and determined than his singer-self. Does not need to sing.

Auditions: 5/30 in NYC
1st Rehearsal: early July
Performances: 8/8 - 8/24 (in NYC)

Project will rehearse for three weeks in Chicago during the month of July. Housing and airfare/transportat ion will be provided and actors will receive an additional $500 stipend for this period.
