Non-union co-host for Times Square New Year’s Eve Celebration ($750, NYC)
The Times Square Alliance and Countdown Entertainment, co-organizers of the annual Times Square New Year’s Eve Celebration are seeking four, young, good looking, enthusiastic, individuals with outgoing personalities to interview and make connections with everyone involved in the evening’s festivities. Improvisation training and/or hosting experience is a plus, but not necessary. This position is only for the true “people person”, as you will interview individuals from all around the world and all walks of life. The likeability factor is an absolute must. You must present yourself as “real” and “genuine”, not an actor.
These 4 co-hosts will rotate and play an integral role in covering the event through the eyes of the people there, from the revelers on the street to the director in the truck and all spaces in between during the six hour live broadcast.
Auditions will be held Monday, December 7th from 10am to 6pm. Producer Callbacks will be Tuesday, December 8th. Auditions will consist of a brief meeting and a mock street interview. For consideration, please email a photo/resume.
This call is for Non-Union talent only. The Co-Host positions pay $750.
