Need all ages Ethnic Hipster/Yuppies types for music video
Location: NYC
The music video is for the band Pillow Theory. We have several scenes to shoot and filming dates are March, Monday 26th and April, Sunday 1st. I am casting the following roles: Yuppies and Hipsters…all ages…especially interested in actors with kids and older people. In this particular video, we specifically poke fun at Black Hipsters and Black Yuppies or otherwise known as Blipsters & Bluppies. What I need: Blipsters & Bluppies! All ages…especially older people and kids. There is no pay but it is shot on a high def quality camera and you could use it for your reel. Not only that…the band is super awesome with a heavy following. They are recently signed to a label and this video is launching their new album.
Music Video synopsis: Lead Actress wakes up in strange home…she is disoriented and doesn’t know where she is at. She notices the room looks like there must have been a huge party the night before with some guests who are still there…hungover. Lead is dressed as a Japanese anime styled girl…tats and piercings. She leaves the home and as she goes outside she encounters Bluppies and Blipsters in various situations…she realizes she is in a world that only two types of peoples exist and she is the odd one out. She is automatically judges and stared at. She races to find refuge. After coming upon several clues she looks for the rebel band Pillow Theory’s refuge spot. They are on a rooftop rocking out with fans. She eventually finds the band….Blipsters and Bluppies have followed her there and upon hearing and seeing the band play…a mosh pit with all the character ensues.
