Currently running on Broadway.
Tells the fictional story of Huey Calhoun, one of the first white disc jockeys who dared to play rhythm & blues music for his white teenage listeners in the early 1950s.
Seeking possible future replacements for the Broadway production, currently running. Casting director states that auditioning performers will also be considered for the upcoming tour of MEMPHIS (Short Engagement Touring Agreement (expected minimum weekly tour salary: $741); see also separate 3/24 tour ECC notice).
Singers Who Move Well (M/F Character ages: 20s – 40s. Characters are all ethnicities. Singers play various ensemble characters and understudy principals (see notice of EPAs (3/22, 3/23, 3/25)).
Must be excellent singers in different styles (R&B, pop/rock).
