New York, NY Casting Calls: Casting African American Actresses for Socially Conscious Hip Hop Video

Casting for two lead roles for “The Cycle” a low budget music video production. The song’s genre can be described as socially conscious Hip Hop. Its theme centers on the way in which poor choices parents make have consequences that are passed down and shouldered by their children. The video tells its story through a combination of performance, narrative, and choreographed dance.

The production is a labor of love being spearheaded by the Director and the Cinematographer both with over 10 years of film industry experience between them. This is a good gig for actors still willing to do unpaid work in order to gain experience and reel material but who are not interested in dealing with students. Shooting will last two days, be quickly paced, and as convenient as possible. This is not background or modeling work, serious aspiring actors only please.
