Actors needed for non-union short film “Lonesome Era”

The film centers on the life of an artist couple, Blake and Frances, who after the success of Blake’s work with a respected musician begin to get film offers. They decide to write their own script about a musician who attempts to flee the Church of Scientology. After Blake’s working partner, a Scientologist himself agrees to do the role he later backs out preventing the film to be made. The two grow increasingly suspicious of friends believing that they are involved in a conspiracy to sabotage their careers after speaking out against the church. This causes the two to become shut-ins, with no contact besides each other.

Female, early 20’s – Beautiful, artistic, well spoken, glamorous and stubborn. Not afraid of confrontation. Occasionally feels that her beauty is a hinderance.

Male, early 20’s – Young, artistic, laid back and passionate. Easy going, but a force, and no push over. Think dazed and confused ‘Randall ‘Pink’ Floyd’,

Auditions will be held at Ripley Grier studios: 520 Eighth Avenue 16th Floor, Room 16A. February 14th from 3 P.M. to 6 P.M.
