Merry Widow Dance Auditions (Today, Jan 30 / NYC)
Amore Opera is casting its volunteer dance chorus for its Spring 2010 production of “The Merry Widow” sung in English. Nathan Hull, director; Heather Bloch, choreographer. Rehearsals begin early February. Fully-staged performances with orchestra run March 12 – 28, 2010 at the Connelly Theatre in downtown NYC.
Seeking—Dancers Who Sing: male and female, 18-40s, all races and ethnic backgrounds.
Auditions will be held Jan. 30, noon-1:30 p.m. (females) & 1:30-2:30 p.m. (males) at the Village Light Opera/Dewar Center, 65 Leonard St. (at Church St.), NYC.
