BORDER INCIDENT - NON-UNION SHORT
This film will be subtitled and it would be a plus if the actors spoke Hebrew. It is fictionalized events that take place right after the start of the Lebanon War. In the town of Shlomi, a group of Israeli soldiers look for their kidnapped comrades yet find out that they are in the wrong house.
Good chemistry between 4 soldiers in the Israeli defense force is the plan here. The script is a work in progress so characters may change yet the main idea is still there.
CASTING:
MENAHEM late 20’s, Israeli soldier, is haunted by a ghost of his past lover who died a year ago, he lives with his wife TESSA. Speaks Hebrew/English.
TESSA 30-35, hasn’t been physical with Hirsh in a while. Beauty comes at a price. She hates when he goes out on business and leaves her alone. She doesn’t get the way he loves Israel. Cheats on him in the end.
AVI 20’s, Israeli soldier, is tired of the sameness of everyday, speaks Hebrew/English.
HIRSH 20’s, Israeli soldier, selfish, practical.
AMOS 20’s, always looking to get laid.
KAHN 20’s, a Lebanese Arab, quick wit and a dry sense of humor.
* There is nudity in this project. There is a very brief scene where TESSA is semi nude, simulating sex.
