MCC Theater ANTC $418/week minimum (Theatre states that it offers $438/week).
1st rehearsal: April 7, 2009. Runs May 6 – June 20, 2009 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre May extend to July 11.
Original musical based on the book by Neil Gaiman. It is a highly theatricalized world where actors may play wildly against type.
Seeking:
Miss Spink / Mother / Other Miss Spink / Little Boy / Others: AVAILABLE ROLE. Non-Caucasian woman, 30s. Glamorous and dangerous. Performer must be able to portray real warmth at one moment and creepy danger the next. POP/ ROCK VOICE.
Other Father / Usher Dog / Winged Girl / Others: AVAILABLE ROLE. Male, any age or ethnicity. Imposing. Warm. Deeply off center, quirky, with a hidden sense of danger. POP/ROCK VOICE.
Equity Principal Auditions: Tuesday, November 25, 2008, 10 AM – 6 PM, Lunch from 1:30 – 2:30. At Telsey + Company, 315 West 43rd Street, 10th Floor
Please prepare 16 bars of a pop song, preferably in the manner of The Magnetic Fields, and a one-minute contemporary monologue. Bring sheet music; an accompanist will be provided.
Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together.
