Disney’s High School Musical: Open Auditions for Dancers

Disney’s High School Musical — OPEN Auditions for Dancers
Paper Mill Playhouse, Millburn, NJ Equity COST, Tier 4, $777/week minimum
Seeking performers. All MUST be over 16 years of age.
AEA members are encouraged to attend the Equity dance call on August 6 or the
Equity singer call on September 3.

Callbacks will be held September 8. Paper Mill Playhouse encourages performers
of minority backgrounds and performers with disabilities.

Seeking:
Male dancers:
16+, but should appear to be in High School. Singers who dance. Tumbling,
cheerleading, hip-hop, rollerblading, skateboarding, a plus…should also be
able to handle a basketball. For the ensemble and featured chorus parts.

Female dancers:
16+ but should appear to be in High School. Singers who dance. Tumbling,
cheerleading, hip-hop, rollerblading, skateboarding, a plus. For the ensemble
and featured chorus parts.

Seeking non-Equity performers for ensemble slots and “swings”. All Non-Equity
performers will be eligible to enroll in the Equity Membership Candidacy program
and will have the opportunity to join AEA at the end of the run.

Be warmed and ready to dance. Wear dance sneakers. All prepare brief
contemporary musical theatre song or pop song prepared, and bring sheet music;
an accompanist will be provided.

Bring picture and resume, stapled together.
Equity audition procedures are NOT in effect for this audition. No Equity
monitor provided. Producer runs all aspects of the audition.
