Co-Op Theatre East is seeking actors and crew for the play “Hijab”
Co-Op Theatre East is seeking a director for the play “Hijab” by Catherine Rush, to be performed as part of COTE’s first annual one-act festival, Questionable Content.
Auditions for the show are scheduled for August 9, with call-backs on August 10. Rehearsals will begin the week following auditions, to be held for 3-5 hours/week until performance based on availability of cast and crew.
Performance dates are September 18 - 21, at the EndTimes Underground space at The Gene Frankel Theatre, 24 Bond Street.
We are also looking for an assistant director to work on “Documentary: A Suicide Narrative” running at the Gene Frankel Theatre, November 1st through 3rd 2008. “Documentary: A Suicide Narrative” deals with issues of sexuality, and suicide, while also utilizing testimonial theatre to share the story of a 16-year-old girl discovering her identity.
