Casting five-minute narrative student film “Close”

Close, is a five-minute narrative film (Super16mm ) centered on an event of sleepwalking. It tells a story of one person’s realization that a loved one might be in danger any waking moment.

The production is currently looking for an actress in her early 20s, Caucasian, with acting experience and/or training to perform a principal role. Women with no acting experience, but a background in dance may also apply. This role is the cornerstone of the script. We are looking for a woman who appears fragile, yet in interaction commands attention and respect, someone with charisma.

The shoot will take place at a Center City Philadelphia location, during one full 10-hour work day on a weekend in late November. Food, transportation costs, and a DVD of the finished film will be provided. There is additional compensation for the shooting day.
