The Henchman – N/U Short
This dark comedic short student film shows the life of a depressed Henchman whose goal is to scheme his company for a disability settlement; all while trying to deal with life, whether it be complications with the new superhero in town, or his own family.

Casting:
Male / 31-40 yrs. / White.
The Henchman - 5′10 - 6′. Muscular with a 5 o’clock Shadow. Depressed Henchman with a family who hates him. Trying to better himself and his career.

Male / 41-50 yrs. / White.
Amphibious Avenger - slightly overweight, possible beer-belly and balding. Up and coming want-to-be superhero Poor with a homemade frog costume. Looking for a way to get into the superhero game.

Female / 31-40 yrs. / White.
Charlene - Wife of the Henchman. Long, Curly Hair. Stay at home mother who drinks and smokes in front of her son. Hates her husband and family, Dreamed big but never made it.

Male / 15-17 yrs. / White.
Junior - Must be able to play 12-15yrs old. Bratty child who doesn’t listen to his parents. Little to no parental guidance and shows.

Female / 51-60 yrs. / White.
Gladys - stern and bitter old lady with rimmed glasses to the nose. Takes no garbage from anybody and sticks to the books.

Male / 31-40 yrs. / White.
Joe - Average next door neighbor. Type of guy who would go fishing in a drop of a hat. Very community oriented.

Male / 31-40 yrs. / Any Ethnicity.
Supervisor - Thin small build with possible moustache. Business type, older and possibly foreign pencil pusher.
