Casting call for the Student film “Hello, Goodbye”
Columbia MFA candidates Rogin Kim, dir., and Rashi DeStefano, prod., are casting HELLO, GOODBYE, a dramatic short thesis film about Junghoon, who has arrived in town with his baby son strapped to his chest, in search of his estranged wife. To be shot on HD or the RED. Shooting 8/25-8/29.
NOTE: All roles are of Korean descent, except the bartender.
YOOMI, 20s, just left her husband and baby son a month ago and must now confront them. Slim to medium build. Cocktail waitress. Moderate to fluent KOREAN.
MRS. SONG, 40s-50s, a subtly manipulative personality. Capable of great love. FLUENT KOREAN.
BARTENDER, 30s, good comic timing and affect. KOREAN a +.
JIMMY, 1 year to 16 months, Junghoon and Yoomi’s baby, will be in a harness throughout most of the film.
