Casting call for student film “The Birthday Cake”
We are looking for actors and actresses for a student short film (NYU). Entitled ‘The birthday cake’ the short is a fictional comedic melodrama looking into the relationship between two young sisters.
This film will be shot in 16mm during a three day weekend in mid-November. NON-UNION actors only.
Characters include:
Female, age 11 – 15 to play the role of Gigi, the older sister.
Female, age 5 – 10 to play the role of Lily, the little sister.
Female, age 30-40 to play the role of the mother, cristina.
Male, age 30 – 40 to play the role of the father, Paul
Male, age 60 – 70 to play the role of the grandfather.
All children must be accompanied at all times by a liable adult over the age of 18 during auditions and casting calls.
