Casting call for silent indie film “Maya: The Illusion”

Project Description: In this semi-silent, black and white film, a young woman in college has her sights on a man that holds a deep secret that is revealed after a night of passionate, non protective, sex. Through animation battle scenes we get a glimpse of what is growing inside of her. Blended with jazz music of John Coltrane and specs of RED colors to symbolize caution, we see how a pretty face can have rotten insides.

Casting 4 Males (3 African-Americans and 1 Caucasian):

Lead Character, Omar, 30’s, White male, very attractive, well dressed, and kept man. A man who is very desirable to many.

Speak, early 20’s, mannish, aggressive guy, who acts younger than he is. Loves Rap music and inspires to be a rap star.

Mark, early 20’s, average looking. A big time flirt.

MAN, late 20’s/early 30’s. very nice looking man, with eyes that tell another story.

Must have some Theater Training. We are shooting in late October. Auditions coming up in a couple of weeks.
