Casting call for short film “The Myth”
Eliza Vignonga, director, is currently casting for a short film titled The Myth. The Myth is a modern retelling of the anicent Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. Their love was so strong that he ventured into the Underworld to rescue her from death. Ours is a modern take on this story with the characters Charlie and Naomi. The film’s producer is Catherine Love. Tentative shoot dates are June 26th through June 29th in New York City.
Seeking – Charlie: early to late twenties, 5′9″ or taller, well built and fit, no accent, blonde (or willing to dye hair) Lead roll.
Naomi: early to late twenties, 5′3″ to 5′7″ tall, slim build, no accent, red hair (or be willing to dye hair) Lead roll.
Austin: 50 – 60 years old, salt and pepper hair, minor roll.
Auditions will be held on Friday June 5th from 1pm to 5pm by appointment only. We will contact you with the location information. We will also be supplying the script prior to the audition. Rehearsal dates and times TBA. This is a non-paying gig but meals, copy and credit will be provided. This is a non-union film. Partial nudity.
