Casting call for several short films
LGM Studios and Hugenot Productions will be shooting several short films over the course of later May through the rest of the summer.
The audition will be taking place this Sunday, May 17, from 10am-2pm at Shetler Studios 244. W. 54th street. Between 8th Ave and Broadway. 12th floor. Look for “Hugenot Productions”
Here is a brief description of the projects that we are looking to cast:
1) “Break In” A comedic sci-fi thriller.
Roles needed: specifically needing the mother and father roles to play the parents of the lead actor. Must convincingly play the parents of a high school student. Strong comedic ability and/or strong improve experience would be ideal. Office roles needed as well.
Total shoot time: For the roles being cast, Sunday, May 24, in Monroe, New York, just about an hour away on NJ Transit/Path.
2) “Reflections” A dramatic super-natural thriller.
Roles needed: Several roles, strong dramatic presence. Male/Female. Particularly seeking the wife to the lead actor. Early to mid twenties.
Total shoot time: A few days in June. Dates/times TBA
3) “Untitled Geek Squad Project” Tentative. A fast-paced slap-stick short.
Total shoot time: A few days in June/July. Dates/times TBA
These projects are no pay, but you will be working with a great crew with Film Festival experience as well as being provided with film copies in a very timely fashion.
*Transportation/ Meals will be provided as well as laughs, bad jokes, and a good amount of bloopers.
The May 17th casting will be used to cast for all 3 projects at once. Bring a Headshot/Resume.
Auditions will be on a first come first served basis. Sign-In sheet provided. However, if there is a particular time you would like to be seen, respond immediately to the email below so that I may save that time for you. Just make sure you’re there at that time!
Sides will NOT be used for the audition. We would like you to come in with one comedic monologue and one dramatic monologue. This is ideal. If you just have one, we still want to see you.
