Casting Call for NYC Art Film
Young Male Students Needed for Art Film. We are looking for male students, ages 18-20.
Type: Fresh-scrubbed, clean-shaven and ambitious with the look of a Wall Street or Capital Hill intern.
For the staged/ experimental part of a film about politics for one to two days of filming.
Previous acting experience is not necessary, but ownership of a business suit is.
Please send a short resume and recent (!!) photograph to Elaine at rudeliusfilm@gmail.com. The photo doesn’t have to be a professional headshot but it has to show your current hairstyle/ look. Casting sessions will be held in Manhattan.
We start filming the week of August 4th. Participants will receive $75 for each full day of filming. Sorry, no union actors.
Internationally renowned video artist Julika Rudelius is a German artist living in Amsterdam and New York. Her work has been exhibited internationally at The Brooklyn Museum, New York, The Tate, London, The Stedelijk Museum, Holland and numerous film festivals.
