Casting call for non-union short “Night at the Farmhouse”
We have here a short film that we are making this coming weekend. We are looking to find an actress aged 18-24 to play the role of Tanya. She is a young girl who is looking to enjoy a night of camping with her friends. Unbeknown to her, a madman escaped from a local insane asylum and has begun to wreak havoc on their evening. Tanya is the first victim to face his knife.
This is a short film with people who take the craft of any film be it horror, sci-fi, drama or comedy very seriously. We are all looking to make a great movie and have a great time. Only dedicated individuals please.
CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:
Tanya (Caucasian, 18-24): Tanya is a young girl. She is your standard young woman. She is confidant and headstrong. She does not take any crap from anyone, yet she is too intelligent to let a confrontation erupt into a fight. She has playfulness where she almost enjoys a challenge, yet she does ultimately walk away from a confrontation and that allows the fearful and weak to assume that she is their easy target.
