Casting actors for short student comedy film (NYC)
Casting 3 actors for parts in a short student comedy film. The short film is a comedy about how things go awry after the guy forgets the girl’s name, but then generically ends up winning her back.
1rst part- (24-30) Main character. Has most of the dialogue. Must be naturally funny with a good sense of humor but also able to play serious.
2nd part- (24-30) the lead girl. Smaller part. Must be attractive and down to earth. Part doesn’t require nudity, but there is a quick scene that requires the character to show her bra or some variation of it.
3rd part – (24-30) the best friend part. Must have a cool demeanor and a relaxed persona. Have good timing and just a down to earth personality.
We will begin filming around late June or early July.
This will be an unpaid job. However we will give all actors a copy of the film for their reel so they can showcase it for future projects. We can also give set photographs.
This job is non-union only. We unfortunately cannot hire SAG actors.
