Casting -A Rose Corsage-
A Rose Corsage (Last Breath Films) is based on a play of the same name. It takes place in rural Maryland after a college semi-formal. It contains two characters and takes place at an after party. It begins very innocently, but soon spirals downward into something that both Erin and Jackie will regret for the rest of their lives. Both actors must have strong dramatic and comedic qualities.
Non union cast:
JACKIE (20-25 Male Caucasian) Very attractive. Jock. He lives his life by the kind of “eye on the prize” athletic cliche.
ERIN (18-23 Female Caucasian) She is young and only now becoming aware of the beauty of her body and its effects on those around her, especially men. Her face however, still maintains the look of a cherub, finding its way through life and figuring it all out as it goes along. Her eyes have that special quality usually only seen in the most sensitive of adolescenets who are trying so terribly hard to appear in control of the world around them; they betray her everytime she lies.
