Seeking: Soldier (Lead) - Female.
Strong convictions, owns her space, aware of her power. Smart, manipulative and honest, she represents history and tradition in a post-Apocalyptic world. Seeking an ethnic female actress preferably in her 40s or older but open to all ages. Non-union only.
STAND SENTRY is the story of two soldiers standing guard at a big brick wall that separates “the good people” from “the bad people”. Impeccably dressed in formal military uniform, the soldiers stand in stark contrast to the decaying wall behind them. The war-torn world they live in provides the backdrop for the battle they have with each other.
Auditions are Sunday, March 23rd (callbacks are Monday, March 24th).
Shoot is mid-April 2008 in Brooklyn(dates TBA).
Rehearsals will begin early April.

STAND SENTRY is by award-winning writer Jason Hall. The script is the winner of the 2006 London Writers’ Competition. It was originally produced as a play in Toronto as part of the Rhubarb Festival at Buddies In Bad Times Theatre (2006) by DeCo. Productions. DeCo.
