Auditions for short film “The Ocean Motel” (New York, NY)
The Ocean motel is a fantastical love story about a couple staying at the Ocean Motel and a maid who becomes interested in the odd happenings of their room. As the couple’s relationship evolve into a brand new creature she is changed forever; opened up to genuine emotion for the first time. The film is a vaudeville show of sorts, charmingly obscene!

Wilma is polite and delicate; she asks for permission to do everything. She is a weak character. Description: Wilma is a young woman; she got married 5-6 years before the story told in the movie. When she got married, she was almost a child (18-19 years old). Over the course of this vacation she will change her position in her marriage. *The audition: May 26th. Mr. Jones is a strong character, energetic, old fashioned man. When he gets angry or worried his hand shakes. He is self-confident. Character: Mr Jones is a middle-aged man, married with no children. He is having a long vacation in the motel. He has recently retired after a long hard life as a blue collar worker. Tessa is a strong character, energetic, funny, expressive, genuine. Theatrical type of acting. She moves fast and nervously. Wide range of facial expression. Description: Tessa is a middle-aged woman working as a maid in a motel. The thing she values most is money, but she is not obsessed. While she’s working, she likes to spy on the customers of the motel; she looks at their personal belongings, sometimes she even tries on their dresses, she often steals something from them. In the story, what she discovers while spying will change her forever and reveal her true feelings.
