Mike Lemon Casting Announces Open Call For African American Children for New Feature Film “Stringbean & Marcus” Directed By Tanya Hamilton.
Mike Lemon Casting is working on the film “Stringbean & Marcus” with
director Tanya Hamilton slated to film this summer. Film featuring hip hop
artist and actor Mos Def (“The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”, “The
Woodsman”, “The Italian Job”) and Sophie Okonedo actress (“Hotel Rwanda”,
“Martian Child”, “The Secret Life of Bees”).
The film tells the story of a former Black Panther who returns home and
ponders whether the past he’s been outrunning for years is at the cost of
everything he’s loved.
