Open Casting Call for “Abduction” 16mm Short Film
Abduction is 16mm film centered around Joel, a 8 year old boy. On his way home from school, he meets and spends the afternoon with a man he has never met before but remains strangely familiar…
CHARACTER BIOS:
Randall- 35-45 is a professional man and an estranged father. Reserved, while maintaining an imposing presence. An enigmatic figure who offers Joel a ride home from school, knowing full well that he is the son he has never met. Joel is never made aware of the information.
Joel- 7-10 – Shy elementary school boy. Joel is a curious and kid who exudes a sense of vulnerability. He wants to know why Randall approached him and is willing to go along with him to find out.
