LOCATION: MIAMI, FL
The School of Entertainment & Design Technology at Miami Dade College, North Campus, will be holding an open casting call for short films directed by talented young filmmakers. The films will be shot in the Miami area from February 12 to March 14, 2010.
Actors will receive on-screen credit and a DVD copy of the film.
The auditions will take place on Thursday, February 4, from 1:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Miami Dade College, North Campus, Building 2, Room 2147. Please bring a photo/resume with you to the casting call. Below are brief description of the film and characters. Please email the director to set an appointment for Thursday’s audition.

FILM TITLE: “THE CLOSET”
A young girl is terrified at night by the figure in her closet that makes noises and attempts to invite her in by calling her name. She alerts her mother, but she doesn’t believe her and interprets it as a “child’s dream.” Is it a child’s dream or is it real?
LILY – (Young girl or boy, 8-11 years old)
Scared, very innocent and vulnerable.
MOTHER – (Eartly 30s)
NOTE: I have an actress but I will cast an understudy just in case.
Warm and caring, practical.
MAN IN CLOSET – (Any age, average to tall in height)
Silent, mysterious.
