Casting Call for Short Film Project “Blood Ties”
A violent story of a man’s family ties to the Russian mafia, and the conflict it brings to him and his loved ones. When a man’s family is threatened, mercy is not an option.
ALEXANDER KOSLOV
(late 20s, Russian American type)
Born into the brutal world of the Russian mafia he is a hardened criminal by force, and his boss right hand man. Compassion and a good heart is what lets him draw the line between what is right and wrong.
DEMETRIUS IVANOV
( mid 50’s, Russian type)
A powerful Russian crime boss, that is led by his ambitions for money and more power.
Shameless, and ruthless. He will stop at nothing to get his way.
NINA TREYAK
(early 20’s, Russian American type)
Alexander’s cousin. Beautiful, attractive. Sassy, with a burning fire deep inside of her. She has lost her way in the world and has had her share of abuse, but has hope for a life outside of crime.
We will be auditioning more than 40 roles for 14 film projects the same day. The films will be shot in the Miami area from October 3 to November 8, 2009
This is a NO PAY job.
Actors will receive on screen credit and a DVD copy of the film.
The auditions will take place on Saturday, September 26th, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Miami Dade College North Campus, Building 2 room 2147.
