Seeking actors for Hip-Hop Rock Musical “Kingdom”

SPT Tier 3 and $100 a week for non-union
The ReVision Theatre is a professional regional theatre located in Asbury Park, NJ, 55 miles from NYC (formerly Genesius Theatre Guild in NYC). Housing in Asbury Park will be provided during tech week and the run of the show.
NYC appointment auditions will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2009, from 10 – 6.

Seeking: Actors will be singing in pop and rock styles, with a quality more likely heard on the radio than in traditional musical theatre. All actors must be able to rap convincingly; the chorus roles will also understudy.
JUAN 18, Latino male, oddball, thinker, funny, tragic hero, strong singer, decent rapper. Tenor. Sings to high Bb.
ANDRES 19, Latino male, charismatic, impulsive, leader, strong rapper and singer, bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Tenor or baritenor. Sings to high A.
MARISA 21, Latina female, bilingual English/Spanish necessary, hardcore Latin Queen, strong singer and rapper. Strong alto or soprano, not breathy or airy. Sings to E.
CANO 35, Latino male, bilingual English/Spanish necessary, passionate, politicized, self-assured Latin King leader, strong rapper, decent singer. Preferably baritone.
HECTOR 25, Latino male, intimidating leader of Sólidos gang, strong rapper, decent singer, bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Any vocal range okay.
DANNY 21, Latino male, funny, Sólidos gang member, strong rapper, decent singer, bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Any vocal range okay.
CHORUS 1 female and 1 male playing LATIN KINGS & QUEENS and other roles. Between 16-30. Tough, aggressive, energetic, street. Strong singers.
Also seeking understudies who will also perform ASM and Assistant Director duties.
