Casting Notice for “As Bees in Honey” - NJ
J-City Theater ( Jersey City , NJ ) is casting As Bees in Honey Drown by Douglas Carter Beane, Sandy Cockrell, director.
Rehearsals begin August 16th; Performances run Friday thru Sunday, Sept 28th thru Oct 14th. All rehearsals and performances will be held in Jersey City , NJ ; less than 15-minute commute via PATH train.
Seeking - cast of five actors: ranging from mid 30’s to 50’s; skilled in language, movement, and ensemble work. Note: Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to attend.
Auditions for Equity and Non-Equity performers will be held Friday August 10th from 10a.m. to 3p.m. and Saturday August 11th from 10a.m. to 3p.m. at Ripley-Grier Studios 520 8th Avenue, Room 16H.
Prepare a language-driven comedic monologue. Actors may be asked for a second monologue. Sides will be provided at the audition in the event of a call back.
Bring pix and resumes stapled together. Equity audition procedures are not in effect. No equity monitor provided. Producer runs all aspects of the audition.
Equity Members: Two Equity Special Appearance Contracts available, $175 per week.
Non-Equity Members: Non-Equity will be given a travel stipend.
