Actors needed for new stage play “Election Day” (Houston, TX)
JCP looking for non union actors for a new stage play titled “Election Day” to tour U.S. 2010 -2011.
Acting experience is not required but preferred. Singing is a plus.
Must be willing to travel on weekends. advance notice is provided. all travel expenses paid. Rehearsals in Houston, TX.
Ideally the cast should be interested in being part of a long term project with hopes for larger development and opportunities.
Portfolio with head shot is recommended by not mandatory.

ELEANOR CLARK: Female – RACE OPEN. Flamboyant. Very opinionated and outspoken. Excellent memorization skills. Age 35 – 60
BOBBY BOUDREAX:: Male – RACE OPEN. The Stephens’ gay neighbor. He owns an upscale boutique and is full of drama. Flamboyant. Vocal talent a plus. Age 25 – 40
WILLIAM STEPHENS: BLACK MALE. Retired banker, U.S. Airforce veteran. Very practical. Good sense of humor. Age 35 – 60
DELORES STEPHENS: BLACK FEMALE. William’s wife. Retired educator and devout Christian. Modest, kind and gentle. Age 35 – 60
JACK BOLTEN: WHITE MALE. Married to Lisa. Conservative. Executive in the Oil and Gas industry. Age 25 – 40
JESSICA STEPHENS: LATINO FEMALE. Married to Jason Stephens. Smart and sassy. Must be able to speak Spanish. Age 25 – 35
