Seeking talent for staged reading of Reunion of the Bells
T-Squared Music is casting a staged reading of Reunion of the Bells, a modern musical comedy about family drama, written by Trance Thompson and Tim Brown. Rehearsals are in progress. Performance is slated for mid November in Hollywood.
SEEKING:
Alby: male, late 50-60’s, African-American, father of eight, loving but tough, Ben Vereen type;
Georgia: female, mother, late 50-60’s, African-American, youthful, strong and stylish, Phylicia Rashad type;
David: male, 30’s – to play younger, African American, strong and masculine;
Oscar: male, 30’s, hispanic or any ethnicity, smooth and easygoing;
Twan G: male, late 20’s-early 30’s, asian or any ethnicity, energetic and wanna-be hip.
Note: All roles require strong contemporary singers with the ability to harmonize.
Auditions will be held Sat, Sept. 26 at The Complex, 6476 Santa Monica Blvd, L.A., CA From 2pm-6pm. Please prepare 16-32 bars that show off your voice and personality. An accompanist will be provided. Sides will be provided. Bring a pic and resume. There is no pay.
