STORY LINE: TOMMY PENDECREST’s world is shaken up when his brother VICTOR returns from the Marines. Upon returning from boot camp, VICTOR kills ROB’s (the captain of TOMMY’s football team) dog as revenge for dating his ex-girlfriend. Quiet and shy, TOMMY is forced to examine his brother anew and discover what makes his brother worth loving and respecting.

TONY PENDECREST: To play 16 years old, from a lower class background, quiet and contemplative, Tommy is extremely smart and perceptive due to his tendency to observe rather than join in. He cares a great deal about his brother but is also not ignorant of his faults, including his tendency towards crazy behavior and is shaken when his brother returns from the Marines and kills the dog of the captain of his football team…LEAD

VICTOR PENDECREST: To play 19 years old, from a lower class background, Victor is a wild card who can turn on you in a moment. Despite his unpredictable nature (or because of it) he is extremely charismatic and can charm most anyone who crosses his path. He cares deeply about the people in his life but sometimes hurts them through his impulsive nature by acting and speaking before thinking things through…LEAD

ROB DAWSON: To play 18 years old, Rob is the captain of Tommy’s football team, extremely confident and affable. An overachiever, he’s more All-American standout and do-gooder than jock. While he can do anything he sets his mind to, he often fails to see that not everyone thinks like him and doesn’t understand those who are different. He also cannot understand why Victor keeps trying to talk Jess, his old girlfriend.. .LEAD

JIMMY PENDECREST: Late 40s - 50s, Tommy and Victor’s Father, Jimmy is gruff and weathered, dealing with the effects of many years of drinking and general hard living. He lacks the mental and physical strengths he had in his youth and is not comfortable sharing emotions, not to mention that he doesn’t really know how to be a good father…LEAD

JESS: To play 17 years old, Victor’s old girlfriend and Rob’s current girlfriend. She also comes from a lower class background, like Victor and Tommy. She is edgy but is also a very compassionate person…SUPPORTING

FOOTBALL COACH: Age 30-50, he is the head football coach on Tommy’s team and has no time for anything less than 100% out of his players…SUPPORTIN G

KYLE: To play 18 years old, Rob’s best friend, he plays football with Rob and Tommy…SUPPORTING

CARL: To play 18 years old, plays football with Tommy and tries to get him drunk at the party…SUPPORTING
