Auditions will be by appointment only. 3 minute monologue from play or similar material. Be prepared to read from the play. There will be call backs.
Please check location and distance of theater (18 minutes from Studio City) before committing to audition.
Seeking:
BLANCHE: Female, 40ish, Southern dialect a must. Extremely experienced, strong actress. Fragile, Beautiful, Sensuous. No one over 5′8′.
STANLEY: Male late 20’s/ early 30’s. Powerful, Bull, macho, blue collar, strong, experienced actor. Must be in great shape and able to do fight choreography. No one over six feet.
STELLA: Female, Late 20’s/early 30’s. Blanche’s younger sister. Strong, experienced actress. Pretty but not a beauty. Petite. No one over 5′5′. Southern dialect a must.
MITCH: Male, Mid to Late 30’s to early 40’s. Stanley’s friend. Regular, nice guy. Strong, experienced actor.
STEVE: Male 40’s to 50’s character actor. Looking for New Orleans dialect.
EUNICE: Female 40’s to 50’s character actress. Steve’s wife. New Orleans
PABLO: Male 30’s to 50’s Latin character actor.
YOUNG MAN: Late teens to early 20’s (one scene)
