Shoots May 19th – May 26th in Irvine, CA (Orange County)
Synopsis: This is a short film about a young woman, Olivia, whom have experienced sexual abuse at a young age that left her traumatized. She lives in fear of any contact with men and careful never to make eye contact with anyone. With a past that keeps her from living normally and changes her attitudes toward life, she is always looked down upon by the girls she works with and everyone else just think she’s weird. Her closest interactions are with her sister and mother until a childhood friend, Syd, curious of her past, opens her up. Somehow, Olivia finds herself to trust Syd and be close to him; be it physical and emotional closeness. Gathering her courage Olivia shows him her feelings only to find out does not feel the same way; that he is just a nice guy that wanted to save her from her pitiful life. Now being thrown back even further of her own secluded life, Olivia steers clear of Syd, until she realizes how much he had helped her and how painful it is to live the way she has been.
Date, time and location of casting, along with a side of the script, will be sent electronically to those that fit the descriptions of the characters. Casting will be from 2-3 days at Universal Studios, LA of the last week of February.
A sexually abused girl living in fear of any contact with men falls in love with one man that teaches her how to look up and live again.

OLIVIA: (main female lead) Characteristics – She is timid, quiet, soft spoken, naive Physical – Ethnicity: Asian or Pacific Islanders Her age is 24 (so as long as you can pass for 24)
SYD: (main male lead) Characteristics – He is charming, flirtatious, protective, his tone has a bit of arrogance Physical Any ethnicity – His age is 26 (pass for 26 or younger)
TAMMY: (Olivia’s Sister) Characteristics – She is bubbly, out-going, and a bit nosy Physical Ethnicity: Asian or Pacific Islanders – Her age is 19
CARLA: (Olivia’s co-worker) Characteristics – She is a gossiper, thinks she is prettier than most girls, materialistic Physical – Any ethnicity – Age from 20-28
LILLIAN: (Olivia’s co-worker) Characteristics – She is flirtatious, materialistic, seductive Physical – Any Ethnicity – Age from 20-28
PAUL: (rude customer) Characteristics – He is rude, loud, in your face obnoxious, thinks he owns the world Physical – Bald possibly, overweight – He is middle-aged – Any ethnicity
