Project Notes: best described as a dream sequence/experimental film. Needs really strong dramatic actors who are dependable and can provide their own transportation. This film, will be submitted to film festivals.
Woman – Lead / FEMALE / 18 TO 28 / Caucasian
Required Skills – Dialects: American Southern, Minnesota
Helpful Skills – strong character presence, very dramatic, must be able to act without words always being necessary.
woman: wandering in the desert alone, wearing only a dirty tunic, a young woman wants nothing more than to die. She is in pain, experiencing heat strokedying of thirst and hunger as well as suffering from post traumatic stress. Character has voice-overs as well as conversations with her “mirages” and herself.
Old Cowboy – Co-Star / MALE / 60 TO 75 / Caucasian
Required Skills – Dialects: American Southern, Minnesota
Helpful Skills – must act like a cowboy, attitude and all.
Old Cowboy: strong presence almost provides more questions than answers in the story. Slightly quirky, sense of humor and a serious side, must be able to switch back and forth between the two.
Priest – Lead / MALE / 40 TO 60 / 5′ 6″ – 6′ 6″ / Caucasian
Required Skills – Dialects: American Southern, Minnesota
Helpful Skills – strong character presence and dramatic acting skills
priest: slightly scary, solemn with stone eyes. He is the antagonist in this film, showing the films message that even the righteous do wrong. Must be willing to act without words always being necessary.
Little girl – Co-Star / FEMALE / 7 TO 12 / Black – White Mix, Caucasian
Helpful Skills – strong presence, dramatic acting.
young girl: must come across eerie, with a ghost-like feel/look. strong dramatic acting experience is necessary!!
Story Line: A girl is found wandering alone in the desert. Her skin is burnt andhe appears to be suffering from heat stroke.
She has these hallucinations from lack of water or food and comes to meet 3 strange characters who reveal things aren’t always what they seem.
