Open Auditions for Teen Dancers for “The Bratz(R)”

Teen Dancers for “The Bratz(R)” – Dance Styles DVD. MGA Entertainment and
Fitvid Productions will be casting girls, ages 14-17, for “Bratz The Dance Styles
DVD.” We’ll be casting 8 girls for back-up dancer/performers and 4 girls for
lead/dancer performers.

Specs for Back-up Dancers: Strong and versatile dance training. Must be able to
learn and perform four different dance styles: Hip Hop, Reggaeton/Salsa,
Trance and Club/Pop.

Specs for Leads: Strong and versatile dance training. Charismatic on-camera
personality. Must beable to break down each dance routine and teach it on
camera to Bratz fans. Ideally, though not essential, teen dancers selected to
try out for Bratz lead role should have similar personality and physical
characteristics as one of the four Bratz characters who they will be representing:

“Sasha” (African-American) to lead Hip-Hop;
“Yasmin” (Hispanic) to lead Reggaton/Salsa;
“Jade” (Asian) to lead Trance;
“Cloe” (All-American blonde) to lead Club/Pop.

All teen dancers must attend Open Call and audition in Open Call group
performance format. There will be no individual casting appointments made.
Call backs for back-up dancers and those selected to try out for lead roles will
be scheduled for the day following Open Call: June 6. First cut will be made on
the basis of dance ability and performance level. Second cut will be made on
the basis of dance ability, performance level, on-camera communication skills
and charisma. Performance of dancers selected from Second Cut will be
videotaped. All ethnic groups.

Rehearsal and performance pay.
