STORY LINE: A global warming thriller following the last five children on Earth, who go out in search of their kidnapped sister to discover the truth behind the myth of the last sentient beings on earth, a mythical creature placed on Earth to protect it from human destruction.
SEEKING THE FOLLOWING PRINCIPAL ROLES FOR AN ENSEMBLE PIECE IN THE VEIN OF “THE GOONIES” AND “STAND BY ME”.
[CORAL] Female to play 15. Latina. Beautiful and innocent, she finds herself through her journey through the decimated Earth of 2099, emerging as a strong, confident and loving young woman. Must be a warm and charismatic actress. Must move very well.
[MAYA] Female, 5. Latina. Fantastic actress, would melt anyone’s heart with a stimple stare. She is CORAL’s baby sister. She is constantly hungry and despite her parent’s death, she is convinced she will see them again. Maya is kidnapped in the middle of the night by a government engineered beast.
[GORI] Male to play 15. Warm and loving kid despite the harsh reality around him, has the magical quality of someone who possesses the knowledge of the ages. He is the mediator of the group, and only one who appreciates the remaining beauty in the dying world. He falls in love with Coral. Despite his rich inner life, he is not sure how to express his feelings with words, thus is locked within himself.
[PAK JI-BIN] Male, to play 15. Asian. Excellent actor, who can express wry sense of mischief. Full of bravado on the surface but is revealed to be a coward who proves himself to be a selfish, egotistical friend.
[JERR] Male, to play 15. African-American. Diffuses tense and dangerous situations through humor. Able to read a person from a mile away. A teady bear under his tough exterior.
[KAWIN] Female, 18. Caucasian. A ruthlessly obsevant tom-boy, she is the last to join and oldest of the group. She secretely relishes in her evil-ness, strong and determined.

[VADIM] Male, 30. Open ethnicity. Vadim must have strong dark-comedic chops.

[ORHAN] Male, 30. Western European type. Government agent sent to Earth to rescue the last remaining survivors.
