Odd Girl In Entertainment is seeking six women to share their cancer stories for the chance of being featured in Season Two of the popular webseries, Happy Cancer Chick airing October 2012 on YouTube
(www.youtube.com/happycancerchick) and (www.happycancerchick.com).
We are seeking stories and words of wisdom from women who believe that a happy attitude and a dose of laughter may not cure cancer, but it can help in dealing with the day to day challenges of the disease.
In Season One, Happy Cancer Chick was driven by a fictional and very eccentric character named Lola, whose experiences were inspired by real life cancer survivor Jenny L. Saldaña.
In Season Two, we are taking a more documentary-style approach and want to feature the real Happy Cancer Chicks of the world, so they can share their words of wisdom and inspirational stories to help other cancer patients who may feel lost and alone after diagnosis.
The stories that are selected will be written in third person account. Therefore, selected individuals will not have to appear on camera.
