Free Casting Calls and Auditions

“Perfect Teeth for Crocodile Land” is a play about what happens when you move to Los Angeles. It’s about actors. It’s about directors. It’s about writers and college graduates and transplants and dreamers and artists. It’s about parking. It’s about traffic. It’s about shitty plays in shitty theaters and celebrity sightings and egomaniacs and Runyon Canyon and palm trees and cockroaches falling out of places where cockroaches should never fall. It’s about wondering if somewhere along the line you made a horrible mistake and should actually be off in middle America being an accountant. It’s about where to go for the best “drink that is on fire,” and about having a one night stand with the love of your life.

So it’s really about all of us.

And it’s a comedy!

Auditions will be held Saturday, June 7th from 6-9pm at Theater 68
located at 5419 Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.

Callbacks will be held from 4-9pm, Sunday, June 8th at the same location.

Please prepare a short comedic monologue (under two minutes preferred) or prepare a section of the script (either monologue or dialogue is fine—a reader will be provided). In addition, you may be asked to read from the script—sides will be available.
